Founder Gavin Cooper started his website with the intention of helping military personnel to make claims that they were entitled to. After his website was so popular with the wider UK population, he started Claims Bible – a service that allows anyone to find and start a financial claim for compensation.
In early 2022, 409,000 county court claims were filed in the UK. Of these, 83% were financial claims. People could be entitled to claim money for a variety of reasons, which we will explain in this article.
What is Claims Bible?
Claims Bible is a claims service based in the UK. It educates users on the background behind the claims that they want to make, allowing them to be as informed as possible when entering the claims process. Then, Claims Bible connects clients to ‘no win no fee’ solicitors in their area.
What sorts of claims can I make?
Claims Bible principally focuses on claims that are financial, personal, or property-related. This is a very broad range.
Financial claims involve the mis-selling of financial products, such as loans or catalogue credit. This happens when a lender sells you a loan that they know you can’t afford, or whose eligibility criteria you didn’t meet. This category also covers unaffordable legal fees.
Personal claims include suffering an injury that wasn’t your fault, that is affecting you financially.
Property-related claims include housing disrepair claims. For example if you believe your landlord has neglected to carry out housing repair to make your accommodation safe to live in. Another example would be a diesel claim, if your car was involved in Dieselgate.
How much does it cost?
Absolutely nothing is charged upfront, and clients can get started with Claims Bible for free.
Claims Bible works with ‘no win no fee’ solicitors. If a client’s claim is denied in court, they will not have to pay any money. Claim Bible’s legal partner Clear Legal Marketing Limited, who processes clients’ claims, won’t charge anything for this.
However, if a client does win their money back, the total charge is based on the total refund received from the lender. and this will be calculated using a table found in Claims Bible’s FAQs.
What information does Claims Bible need from clients?
To get started with a claim, Claims Bible offers a form that clients can use to transfer their information to a solicitor. This form will ask for details such as your full name, the address where you lived when you took out the loan, your credit report, and the name of your loan company. Bank statements are useful, but if you don’t have these at hand, Claims Bible can request them.
How do I know if I’m eligible to make a claim?
The easiest way is to go to Claims Bible and fill out the forms provided. They will get back to you within 24 hours and let you know whether you might be eligible to claim back up to thousands of pounds in compensation.
