Node4 has announced that it will be donating IT support worth up to £5,000 to the award-winning Derby-based youth charity, Enthusiasm Trust, thanks to the company’s #Tech4Christmas campaign. With Node4’s generosity, the charity will be able to take on new Node4 services or scale up existing ones in order to meet its particular needs and ambitions.
Enthusiasm provides prevention, early intervention and support for disadvantaged young people growing up in poverty, who are most at risk of becoming involved in anti-social, violent and criminal behaviour. It provides high quality, community-focused youth programmes in socially/economically disadvantaged neighbourhoods across Derby and Nottingham and its IT resources are an essential part of facilitating and running these programmes.
Node4’s additional support in this area will help the charity carry out its work to transform the lives of the most vulnerable, disadvantaged young people and support them to become confident and positive members of the community.
“We are proud to be donating our time and services to such a worthy cause,” commented Paul Bryce, Chief Commercial Officer at Node4.
“Enthusiasm is a local charity and a Node4 customer who we already work closely with. By offering the additional IT support and services, we hope to aid the charity with the smooth running of its mentor programmes, family support and work with young people entrenched in gang culture.”
In the gift-giving spirit of Christmas, Node4 has also donated £2,500 worth of IT support to Variety the Children’s Charity, and £1,000 to Prostate Cancer Research Centre, as part of its #Tech4Christmas campaign.
